You can join if you are one of the following within an eligible organisation:
Employed
Retired
Volunteer (must be actively serving to be eligible)
About roles
There are many roles within the Ambulance service, so we currently list mainly clinical and operational roles (we'll refine this over time)
If your role isn't listed but you are eligible to join, please select Other Role for now (we'll ask you to update this later)
We don't capture grades, bands or specialities. For example, select Paramedic regardless of your band
Choose the option that best reflects your employment status (employed, retired or volunteer). For example, if you're a serving paramedic, choose Paramedic – Employed
If you're retired
If you have retired from an eligible organisation, please:
Select the organisation you retired from
Choose the role that best matches your previous position
Select the Retired option. For example, if you're a retired paramedic, choose Paramedic – Retired
How to verify
You can verify your eligibility in one of two ways:
