Phased eligibility rollout

Updated over a month ago

We care about everyone in the blue light and armed forces community and believe in a one-team ethos with a shared commitment to helping and protecting others. All roles are important, and everyone's contribution matters and deserves recognition, support and reward 💙

However, as a new platform with a small team currently, we're rolling out membership eligibility in phases to ensure we grow responsibly and maintain a high-quality experience for members and hosts. Phasing reflects operational capacity and wellbeing impact, not the value of any role.

Timelines for adding more eligible roles will depend on platform readiness and team capacity, but we'll keep our eligible roles page updated. We appreciate your understanding 🙏

Phase 1 – Current phase

This phase focuses on serving frontline, emergency, critical and regulated roles (paid or voluntary).

These roles typically involve:

1️⃣ High exposure to trauma, danger and risk

2️⃣ Sustained pressure and stress

3️⃣ A greater risk of burnout

We're prioritising these roles to:

1️⃣ Provide immediate wellbeing support

2️⃣ Recognise bravery and selflessness

3️⃣ Help prevent burnout

Phase 2 – Wider rollout

This phase will include retired frontline roles and armed forces veterans.

1️⃣ Many retire due to physical or mental ill health. Regular breaks play an important role in supporting ongoing recovery and overall wellbeing.

2️⃣ They dedicated their lives, and in many cases risked them, to protect others and serve the country. They deserve recognition and support for their bravery and service.

Phase 3 – Full community access

Membership will be open to all roles across eligible services, including non-frontline and operational roles that keep everything running.
